Daylesford - other places of interest

Turner's Horse Riding Farm, situated on the Midland Highway at Guildford, between Daylesford and Castlemaine is only 1 1/2 hour drive from Melbourne. It has been operating horse trail-riding tours in the Upper Loddon State Forest and Castlemaine Heritage Park since 1980. 

Experienced and beginner horse riders, both adults and children, are assured of having a bush experience unlike any other. Kangaroos, Rock Wallabies, Echidnas, Koalas and many varieties of bird life are just some of the natural fauna to be seen whilst riding through the bush.
